Mishlei 24:23-26 - Favoritism in Judgment and Kissy Rebuke (Part 1)
(כג) גַּם אֵלֶּה לַחֲכָמִים הַכֵּר פָּנִים בְּמִשְׁפָּט בַּל טוֹב.
(כד) אֹמֵר לְרָשָׁע צַדִּיק אָתָּה יִקְּבֻהוּ עַמִּים יִזְעָמוּהוּ לְאֻמִּים.
(כה) וְלַמּוֹכִיחִים יִנְעָם וַעֲלֵיהֶם תָּבוֹא בִרְכַּת טוֹב.
(כו) שְׂפָתַיִם יִשָּׁק מֵשִׁיב דְּבָרִים נְכֹחִים.
Length: 46 minutes
Synopsis: This morning (5/22/23), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we tackled a tough cluster of pesukim. It took us a while to get all the facts (which involved some Rambam Bekius - not that I'm complaining!) and we had to keep our questions more general than usual to avoid getting bogged down. We explored a few avenues and ideas towards the end of shiur, and we'll see what the meforshim say tomorrow (בג"ה).
