Mishlei 12:26 - Tzadik, Rasha, Fellow, Spy
יָתֵר מֵרֵעֵהוּ צַדִּיק, וְדֶרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים תַּתְעֵם:

Synopsis: Tonight (10/16/23), in our Monday Night Mishlei shiur, we learned a pasuk with two radically different translations: one which seems to point out the obvious fact that a tzadik is better than his fellow, and the other which makes the scandalous statement that a tzadik spies on his fellow. (Pardon my pathetic attempt to capture the elements of this pasuk in a forced reference to a movie title.) We ended up with six really nice ideas - four from our group and two from the meforshim!
