Mishlei 14:10 - Mishlei's Take on Empathy (Part 1)

לֵב יוֹדֵעַ מָרַּת נַפְשׁוֹ, וּבְשִׂמְחָתוֹ לֹא יִתְעָרַב זָר:

Length: 42 minutes
Synopsis: This morning (11/29/23), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we learned one of the most memorable pesukim (based on anecdotal evidence) which constitutes part of my high school Mishlei curriculum. For better or for worse, this means that I know the idea REALLY well, and had a hard time seeing this pasuk with fresh eyes. After a few attempts at interpretation from the guys in the shiur, I shared my understanding. Tomorrow we'll see if we can get new insights from the meforshim.

If you're interested in the written version, which quoted from in shiur, here's the link.
