Mishlei 11:6 - How Loyalty to Reality Pays Off

צִדְקַת יְשָׁרִים תַּצִּילֵם וּבְהַוַּת בֹּגְדִים יִלָּכֵדוּ:

This evening (12/13/21), in our Monday Night Mishlei Shiur, we learned yet ANOTHER extremely difficult pasuk on the subject of the yashar (upright) and the bogeid (Mishleic traitor) - one which looked almost identical to the previous pasuk, and was even identified as such by the Radak! After some initial theorizing with approaches that had potential, we learned the Rabbeinu Yonah's commentary, who offered a beautiful insight into one of the core benefits of learning Mishlei.

If you're not in the mood to break your teeth, it might be a good idea to start the shiur, and once we raise all the questions, skip to about an hour in, when we start the Rabbeinu Yonah.
